Professional Hard Landscaping Across Cheshire

Hard landscaping covers the structural backbone of your garden: paving, walling, decking, steps, drainage, and built features. It demands real precision, the right materials, and decades of hands-on experience.

With over 30 years of experience in landscape construction and installation and award-winning RHS gardens, we bring the same level of craftsmanship to every project.

How We Manage Your Garden Build

We carefully manage and coordinate the build process to maintain a safe site and minimise disruption to you throughout the works. Here’s what you can expect:

Preliminary Meeting

Before work begins, we’ll arrange a meeting to discuss the build process, site logistics, and what you can expect from Landigo throughout the project. We’ll also introduce our Health & Safety Policy, ensuring that you, your family, and our team remain safe and informed while work is carried out on site.

Site Management

All tools, equipment, and materials are stored securely in a designated fenced compound where appropriate. We maintain clean and organised work sites at all times, carefully managing waste removal and deliveries to minimise disruption and ensure a safe, tidy environment throughout the project.

Health and Safety

We maintain a comprehensive site file containing all relevant Risk Assessments, COSHH reports, and CDM documentation. Every member of our team undergoes a site induction before work begins, and we keep a daily record of all personnel on site. Our team members are easily identifiable in company uniform and are committed to being professional, polite, and respectful while working in and around your home.

Waste Management

All waste is removed from site and disposed of responsibly in full compliance with current environmental legislation. We use licensed waste carriers and hold the appropriate waste management licences. Wherever possible, materials are recycled to reduce our environmental impact, and we operate a dedicated pot recycling scheme to further support sustainable waste management practices.

Client Communication

We encourage regular progress meetings throughout the project, keeping you informed of developments and providing an opportunity to raise any questions, concerns, or feedback. Should you wish to make changes during the build, all variations will be discussed, documented, and agreed in advance to ensure clear communication and keep the project running smoothly and on schedule.

Should you have any questions or require advice in the future, our team is always just a phone call away and happy to help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between hard and soft landscaping?

Hard landscaping covers all the structural, built elements of a garden — paving, walling, decking, steps, drainage, and structures. Soft landscaping is the planting — plants, trees, hedging, and turf. Most garden projects involve both, and we handle the full scope.

It depends on the size and complexity of the work. A patio installation might take a week or two, while a larger garden build could run over several months. We’ll give you a clear timeline before any work begins.

Always. Every quotation comes with a full written specification detailing materials, construction methods, and finishes. This gives you confidence in what you’re getting and a clear benchmark for comparison.

We work with natural stone, porcelain, composite and hardwood timber, brick, block, and a range of other materials depending on the design. We’re accredited London Stone installers and only use products from trusted, industry-recognised suppliers.

Not necessarily. If you already have plans from a garden designer, we can quote and build from those. If you don’t have a design yet, our in-house designer can create one for you as part of our full design and build service.
